On June 27–29, 2024, at the Yeni Klinika Medical Institution, the 3rd Congress on Innovations in Heart Failure was held, organized by the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology. The event, which lasted for three days, began on the first day with courses delivered on three different topics. On the following days, the latest innovations and research in the management of heart failure were discussed and experiences exchanged through presentations by leading specialists from local and foreign countries.
At the congress, the most recent research results and innovative treatment approaches in the management of heart failure were presented, and discussions were held on the impact of new technologies and therapeutic options on patient treatment. In addition, joint sessions were organized with representatives of the European Society of Cardiology and the Turkish Society of Cardiology.
Within the framework of the congress, a clinical case competition dedicated to the memory of Dr. Gulmammad Haciyev was held. In the competition, Dr. Gulay Mammadova was declared the winner with her presentation on “Acute Heart Failure Following Cesarean Section in a Patient with CC-TGA.”
