Cardiofest 2024

From December 13 to 15, 2024, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology organized Cardiofest 2024 – the Azerbaijan Cardiology Festival, the first large-scale series of congresses in our country and the region, covering not only cardiologists but also specialists in internal medicine.

The event began on December 12, 2024, with courses on six different topics, and continued from December 13 with congresses arranged into an extensive scientific program. Specifically, on December 13–14, the 13th National Cardiology Congress and the 6th Invasive Cardiology Congress took place, and on December 15, the 1st Pulmonary Hypertension Congress and the 1st Cardiometabolic Congress were held.

A total of leading specialists from 18 countries participated in Cardiofest 2024, with live demonstrations of patient interventions broadcasted from hospitals in six countries. Joint sessions were organized with the ESC European Heart Journal, ESC EAPCI, and EuroCTO Club.

Dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology and remembered for its innovations, the event also hosted a Board examination. In addition, within the framework of Kardiofest 2024, the Pulmonary Hypertension Congress and the Cardiometabolic Congress, organized in partnership with the Azerbaijan Society of Endocrinologists, Azerbaijan Society of Nephrologists, Azerbaijan Association of Internal Medicine, and Azerbaijan Pulmonology Society, covered internal medicine aspects related to cardiology and were notable for being the first of their kind.
