Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology Public Union (ASC PU)
The Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology is a leading non-governmental organization that brings together cardiologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals dedicated to the development of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in Azerbaijan. The Society operates on the principles of voluntarism, professional collaboration, and equality of rights among its members.
The primary objective of the Society is to contribute to the advancement of cardiology science and clinical practice in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to promote the prevention, early diagnosis, and application of modern treatment methods for cardiovascular diseases. The Society places particular emphasis on expanding scientific collaboration both nationally and internationally.
To advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases through the application of scientific knowledge and modern medical practice, while supporting the professional development of cardiologists and increasing public awareness about heart health.
To position Azerbaijan among the leading scientific and clinical centers of cardiology in the region and to ensure the development of cardiovascular healthcare in the country in line with international standards.

The Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology was accepted as a full member of the European Society of Cardiology on March 25, 2011, after previously holding candidate membership status. This membership has significantly contributed to the integration of Azerbaijani cardiologists into the international cardiology community and to the development of collaboration with European cardiology societies.
The Society cooperates with various international scientific organizations and supports the participation of Azerbaijani cardiologists in international congresses and scientific projects.
The Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology has the following organizational structure:
