On 20 June 2026, the “IVUS – From Imaging to Strategy” course was successfully held at Liv Bona Dea Hospital under the organization of the Invasive Cardiology Working Group of the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology.
The primary objective of the course was to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills regarding the use of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) in daily clinical practice, image interpretation, and the development of optimal interventional strategies based on IVUS findings.
Through expert presentations and interactive discussions, participants explored the growing role of IVUS in contemporary interventional cardiology, with a particular focus on its value in the assessment of complex coronary lesions and evidence-based procedural planning.
